Can I use a salvaged cell phone camera to record streaming video?

By mthompson179 ·
I had a Nokia slider phone that broke but I salvaged the screen and the camera from it. I want to find a way to use the camera along with bluetooth technology to stream video from the camera to my computer and be recorded...think "I am Legend" where Will Smith's character hooks a camera to his glasses and starts recording...

Can anyone help me with this?!

I don't think you can do anything with this. It probably requires the phone hardware and OS to be working, unless you want to design and fab your own hardware.

Edit: Missed a "y".

Bluetooth went south when the phone did ...

It's not a component of the cellphone camera - it would've been part of the bit of the cellphone that no longer works.

If only life were as simple as Hollywood movies, we'd all be having an easier time of it.
