I hv a PowerSpec100 machine w/ Vista Hm prem. The machinbe wld nt boot to win so I did a restore in which I chose to restore keeping the data intact. When I took it for repairs I was told that the machine was in the middle of a restore and that it had a bad memory lock and that my harddrive hd to be re-imaged. My question is this – could I hv used Linux to get to my harddrive and retreive my data?
