Can INTEL do this !

By pc ·
I work for a software house as an engineer, I have set up isdn links to our clients for support using Shiva routers. Intel bought Shiva recently, and soon after stopped production of the Shiva. The Intel product suggested as a replacement won't connect to the Shiva's......I have been trying various settings under guidance of Intel Tech Support for three weeks now. I find it really annoying that a company can get away with this, what do you think ?

Hi there Pete,

I used to work for Shiva up until they announced that they were going to discontinue the product line. I was based in the south of France and we had very good realtions with our customers there. Off the record we advised each of our clients what to do. If you still have contacts in Shiva/Intel in the UK I would advise you to try and contact them - though you wil probably find most of them left - and ask for advice. You may want to try the emails of your previous contacts but with or or at the end.
The other place to look and see if they left "forwarding" addresses is though not everyone knew of its existence.

If I can help I'd be glad to except that I was in QA rather than solutions/integration.
