I work at a business where we have multiple level of support personnel. We don’t want all to have admin rights, but we do want them all (even the users) to be able to release/renew thier IP address within Windows NT/2000. I’m not sure why MS thought it was needed to make this tool restricted to just admin.
Is it possible to set up NT/2000’s IPCONFIG to be used by end users without giving them admin rights? If so, how?
