Hi guys. I recently went to a small shop to replace my Iphone 6s battery. However, I am now beginning to worry if they could somehow steal my data during the process.

I turned off the phone and all along it was locked. The whe battery replacement process took about 10 mins without me witnessing on site. would it be possible for them to access my storage or steals my personal information? Thanks for your enlightenment.

I doubt that iPhones are this easily privy to other people’s volition, but since you were gone a great deal, there a lot that there could’ve happened. To answer your question, yes you can steal someone’s data by the method you enlisted over here

In my opinion, others or you can only recover or extract data from iTunes or iCloud backups using a tool, like Joyoshare iPhone Data Recovery, if the device is locked without knowing passcode, which mainly in data loss situation. However, to extract, the local backup you sync to, like your own computer, or your personal-knowing iCloud account, can only be done by yourself.
