Can network password be changed via RAS?

By MuniKat ·
When dialing up using RAS to access files on our network, users are not notified that their passwords are about to expire.

Once the passwords expire, users are not able to change the passwords.

Is there a setting in dial-up-networking that makes it possible to for a network user to change a password remotely after dialing up our server?

I have exactly the same problem, Once the password expires the following seems to happen - the ras authentication will be passed with the old password but as the ras authentication cannot ask the user for a new password as the user at that stage hasnot logged onto the domain. The only solution we found was to warn ras users not to let their passwords expire !!!
