I’ve got a Latitude 650 with a 56k 3Com Modem (WinNT 4.0 Workstation). The problem is that while in a C/DockII docking station the modem does not detect a dial tone most of the time or states that there is no modem on the receiving end. I can RAS just fine while out of the station. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the modem drivers and the Remote Access Service with no success. I’ve also rebuilt the hardware profile. There are no errors in the eventviewer stating any conflicts. What would be the next step?…
