can ping wireless router but nowhereelse

Hi, I just got a wireless router. My laptop can only ping the router but nowhere else–cannot go online. I tried several other laptops, and they work very well. I turned off the firewall, still not ok. I’m running XP. Anyone can help? Thank you very much.
