got a simple network set up at home, got two computers, one gateway 266 celeron, 96 megs ram, Allied Telesyn AT-2500 nic. Second is a Compac about the same speed processor, but stand pent, 64 megs of ram, and a Kingston KNE111tx NIC. Thier running through a Linksys sr41 router. The gateway is working great, but the compac is having probs (did I mention that both machines are running 98). I can see into the Compac through the gateway, but the compac can not see out… not even to teh router itself. I’ve tried reinstalling the NIC, and I do have the latest drivers for it. Got green lights where need too. At one time this card was working fine, then it got to the point, you’d play on the net, and after a few minutes, it knocked you off, now it won’t even let you on…. at my wits end, any suggestions (oh, of what I can see, there is no IRQ conflicts)
