Can this week be any slower???

By The Scummy One ·
This is my little rant. Ok, the entire week hasnt been slow, Monday I had to put some items on hold due to an employment thing (waiting to see if I was leaving) so Mon eve-Tuesday was pretty busy. Monday morning however was so slow I coulda blown up a printer and watched it **** up in slow motion for an hour.

Wed-now -- feels like a lifetime has passed this week alone! Where did it go? too much reading of stupid policies that are just plain retarded, that is where.
I kinda want to sue someone for my time trying to filter through these unfriendly hyperlinks to instructions/policies/procedures that look like they were meant to be an endless loop of BS. I swear, clicking 1 link that says it is for something leads to pages and pages of crap not related at all. Finally to find another friggin link that leads to another and finally what I was looking for (sometimes up to 8 links). Whoever wrote this crap should be shot. But, it seems to be this way for every friggin thing anymore. WTF -- if you deploy a friggin tool, and force it on users have the friggin documentation ready and readable!

After getting all stressed and finally deciding it isnt worth it and to slowly figure this cr@p out, the days seem to be more like months, filtering through the BS to find anything. Just how this place eseems to stay in business is beyond me!
Gee, another week of this and I may just need to leave anyway...

ok, rant over

Come on over my way...

I've got sh1t-pots-full of Lexmark printers starting to have end-of-useful-life issues. You know...fix one problem :) and an hour later something else on the same printer fails. X-(

I'd rather be clicking the links. Then I'd be able to browse TR while faking it.

Ah Yes, I had some digital senders like that

recently. They are not supported, so I do all support. However these ones we cannot get parts for anymore, so it takes a bit of fiddling to keep 'em goin.

My suggestion is a counter top or thick table/wall :^0

on a never ending project. I give them what they asked for, but it's not what they want. And then I get "Hey, this is great, can we also have..." or "I know I told you I wanted THIS, but what I really want is THAT".

I'm pretty sure I just delivered the last of it. At least I hope so. I'm probably being overly optimistic. And that's difficult for me.
