Can we incorporate voice assistant in Elevator system

Is it possible to operate the elevator free of hands? Is it possible to operate it without any buttons in the near future? Can we use a voice assistant like Google to move from one floor to another?

In principle, yes, assuming that you (talking about “we”) make elevator systems.
In practice, with many people in an elevator and talking to each other in stead of to the voice assistant, I’m afraid it won’t work.

One of my stints had encounters with elevator systems and due to regulations and more, you’ll keep the buttons along with braille for compliance with the ADA Act in the USA.

Which country?

Here there’s the ADA and more stopping you. Along with the added costs.
