Can you connect a Motorola Bluetooth Headset to an E Machine computer

By mctazman2 ·
Recently purchased Motorola's S9 HD headset. Pairs up fine with phone but cannot get it to connect to the PC so that I can use them to listen to music. I have tried to contact Motorola, EMachine (Acer) AND Microsoft, all of whom toss it in the other guys' laps. I am about to toss the headphones. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

There's no-one here that's psychic.

Your particular flavour of Windows might be good too.

Sorry but your description of "an Emachine LAPTOP" still isn't kicking my psychic powers into first gear.

Does your laptop support bluetooth?

If not you will need a USB bluetooth adapter.

My laptop had it as an option, mine doesn't have it even though there is a bluetooth status light on my laptop.

Yeah don't you hate that?

I didn't buy my work laptop myself, someone else did. And for a while I was having connectivity problems between my phone and my laptop, so I wanted to set up bluetooth, only to discover though I have a Bluetooth status light, I don't have Bluetooth.

As they'd call that little light in France.

The reason I had problems was I was using an adapter that did not have drivers for Vista OR Windows 7. I bought a new adapter and it works
