On returning to my pc on Friday after a powercut I received the message that my recycle bin was corrupt so I deleted the contents. Now I cannot access any windows files or worse still my Norton security is not working. I receive the message ‘Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access this item.’ It will not let me download anything although my Internet and messaging doesn’t seem to be affected. I use the Windows Picture Gallery in conjunction with my work and of course I cannot access this. I’m no computer whiz -kid so if you can help me at all. I’d be so very grateful. Thanks Dor
