Can you perform a complete system state recovery using ntbackup

I am trying to find if it is possible to completly rebuild a server from:

ntbackup /m normal (aka Full Backup) +
ntbackup /m daily (up until the day the server failed)

But unforunatly I have to do this using Windows NT Backups Only, I am not able to install 3rd party software onto the server

have you tried it?

you can restore the server to the most recent backup, full, and/or incremental using NT backup.

I suggest that you try it. best way to find you if your backups actually backup.
