Can You Say "Sabotage or Stealing"?

By ideallypc ·
The company should have a User and an Admin rights and responsibilities policy that the IT Admin Guy not only was aware of, but signed as part of his initial and ongoing employment. I am not an attorney, but it sounds like intentionally locking down control of the system meets the definition of criminal intent (can you say ?Sabotage or Stealing?) and it can be proven that he knew what he was doing would cause intentional harm to the company.

If the Ex IT Admin Guy is approached by the company attorney and possibly a sheriff's deputy, he might we willing to fix his "hex" ASAP.
