Check if there is a mailbox quota set if not give the user a new Outlook profile. If the problem persists try giving the user a new NT profile.
If the above doesn't work then make sure you have up to date back up of the user's mailbox on the server and export the entire objects of user's mailbox to a 'PST' file. This might sound drastic but I have had to revert to this in past when everything else failed and TechNet can't help.
You will then delete user's mailbox from Exchange using theadmin tool. Create a new mailbox for user with the same mailbox name and alias then import user's mail box objects from 'PST' file crated previosly.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
Cannot accept/decline task request
App: Exchange2K and Outlook 2000
Workstations: Win2K
I have a client that recently moved to a new office, no configurations were changed that any one can recall.
Prior to the move a specific user was able to create/accept/decline a task request for themselves and now they are given an error message:
"You do not have the permission to send the message on behalf of the specified user."
This only affects this one user and all others are able to accomplish these tasks without error.
Any ideas?
