So I backed up my old hard drive onto my new one, and wiped and reloaded. Once windows is installed, I got to the new external hard drives window, click around for the Documents and Settings folder, click the Desktop folder, and get “Access denied.” I’ve tried restarting in Safe Mode, and make me owner of the files on that drive, but when in Safe Mode, my computer doesn’t recognized the firewire external drive! Any help with this problem would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance!
