Cannot access forms page on ANY website

By DosBoot ·
I am running Windows 98se with IE 5.5 sp2.
When I try to access the forms page (ie: the form you fill out when you want to join or subscribe to a site) I receive a "Page Cannot Be Found" error.
This has happened consistantly on every site I go to.
I have not changed anything in my IE options or security settings.
I tried disabling Zonealarm but that didn't do it either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i've counter similar conflicts. in my situation, firewall was preventing me to visit sites that has an expired certificates, running activeX and so fort... norton firewall is a probably the most annoying and fraustrating firewall than zone alarm though both will prevent you from entering every site you try to visit when there's an attack attempted to you pc. i think (for dial ups only) that i would be best not having a firewall, though its also best to have an anti virus. either that get dsl w/a router so you won't be needing a firewall software. also installing service pack 2 is a must this should make your surfing run smoother, sp3 should be out, but consider d-load it only if you have sp2. let us know the result.
