Cannot boot XP CD ?

by gurjeit . Updated 18 years, 9 months ago

I am using HCL PC. I’ve got XP Media Center 2005 SP2. i upgraded RAM from 256 to 768 and installed DVD W/R(Sony) with Combo(Samsung). Earlier every thing was gonig file till i got a virus in hard disk and removed it with antivirus(e-Trust). And tried to repair windows MCE through original bootable CD. When ever i try to boot from CD the cd is detected by system and message comes:
“Press any key to boot from CD…”
“Please wait while setup is inspecting hardware….”
After few minutes disc stop run. i can’t get to blue screen where written:
“Windows XP”
Then i tried XP Prof. SP2 which has a same problem. Then repaired BIOS and formated hardisk(SATA) once but still not able to boot XP and XP MCE.
But able to boot XP Server 2003. i know there is no problem with harddisk. Currently installed Fedora6.
Need urgent help. Please …. mail me at gurjeit@rediffmail.com if u know the solution the the problem.
Thanks.
