An increasing number of users in our Exchange 2000 / Outlook 2000 environment can no longer change the permission of their mailbox folders. Any attempt to alter permissions prompts the “The modified permissions cannot be saved. The client operation failed.”-message.
Interestingly, the permissions lists of all affected users show an unresolved user name in the form of “NT-User:S-1- & lots of numbers”).
I know from when a similar question was discussed here that a solution would be to add the user from scratch. But I would hate to do that with 50+ users.
Does anybody have a clue?
