I installed a wireless network card on my Win XP SP2 computer and running the automated configuration file corrupted some part of the workgroup/domain name entries. When I log in in regular mode, System properties shows the Domain name as *Unknown*. When I log in in Safe Mode, the Workgroup shows the correct group name. This computer is supposed to be in a workgroup.
Accessing and trying to join the workgroup gives me Access Denied messages. I’m logged in as an admin.
Anyone have any ideas about getting it back into teh Workgroup?
