Cannot connect a printer

By plem ·
I am trying to add a wireless printer we have on our network, onto my laptop. I cannot see any network resources at all, yet I am able to connect to the internet. How do I see the network resources so as to connect the printer?

Run the Wireless Network Setup Wizard

And enable File & Printer Sharing.

If you are at work they should have bridged the Wired and Wireless LAN's together so that you can see the Wired Connections & Shares from a WiFi Connection.

However if this is at home you may be required to enter the WiFi Access Points Setup and Bridge the Wired & Wireless LAN's so that you can communicate between the 2 different LAN's in use.

To find the Wireless Network Setup Wizard in XP it is located in Communications in the menu to reach it left click on Start, All Programs, Accessories, Communications.
