Cannot delete roaming from win2k server

We are trying to delete roaming profiles of users that have left our company. When we go to the profile directory and try to do a delete, we get back a message that we (administrator) does not have proper premissions to detele the folder.
Is ther a source that has the proper way to clean up roaming profiles that are not neeted.
