Cannot delete user in user manager

By Naamor ·
We are running an NT 4 server. We have a user account that we are unable to delete from user manager. Whenever it is attempted,we get a reply that we (the domain admins)do not have rights to do it. Every DA has tried.
Does anyone know what casued this and/or how we can get this account deleted?

Is there a home directory for user in users profile? \\server\home\names\user1 or similar.
If it exist, chek who has rights to current user
folder. If domain admins or administrator are missing, try take ownership for admins, and then add full rights to domain administrators group.
Then remove user account.

Possibly take the PDC off line, delete the account from the BDC & then synchronize. Might need to promote BDC & delete it. If not, you might need some hack tool that allows you to edit the SAM.
