i installed win2k professional with an unattended steup-cd and tried a liveupdate without success. im am very angry since everything is unclear. some updates are listed and it says(in german) that there is an exclusive one(which one?) the one is only said when i enter. and the informations in the popup-window is nonexclusive. completely confusing. all is total confusiom how do i know which service pack i already have? no numbers or whatsoever in the listing to compare. my pc only shows numbers.the english help-link does not work!
why should we delete some of the updates, delete from where? from the listing and why?
i think i will install winme and later use linux. i want this service pack because i hope the following problems would be solved.my last startups always show symtray.exe. sometime error-message, pls restart.
i use norton-system-works. works very well with winme.
are these error messaged standard? nsworks did its work, no errors found, or, errors corrected. i will restart nsworks.
why on the earth does microsoft all the times built up hurdles? is it money or what else? if there is more freedom of doing on this earth we would have less pain!and pc-troubles! we could care about eachother.
