CANNOT FIND NTLDR

by trurod70 . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

I have a nt4 server with scsi hard drives on a scsi adapter. The hard drives are on a software mirror. The main hard drive went bad so I am trying to boot from the mirrored drive. I get an error that says cannot find ntldr. I can boot from the fault tolerant boot disk and it boots up fine. So I dont believe it is the arc path. I have tried to repair it using the emergency repair disk and I have also tried to reformat another hard drive and boot from that. I still get the same error. I think something is wrong with the master boot record. But I wouldnt know how to fix it. Any suggestions?
