I’m not sure if this is the correct BOARD to post this question, if it’s not please advise.
I recently got a compaq deskpro 4000 from a friend; his company was updating their computers.
Although I receive several techrepublic emails regularly, i.e.; win95/98 tips, win2000 tips, security solutions, disaster recovery… I’m still quite the novice in many respects, as my question below will confirm.
I’ve been having a problem with links in all emails I receive. when I click on the link I get a message saying – cannot find PROGRAM –
I have exhausted what little knowledge I do have in trying to correct the problem but I’ve had no luck.
What is causing this to happen?
How can I correct this problem?
The OS is windows 98se plus
I would appreciate any help
