I have been having some major Hardware issues recently –
Firstly, I keep getting setupdd.sys error code 4 during setup. It has taken me a while to work out that the issue is the actual HD – i feel formatting will resolve (still not sure why this problem occured, I am beginning to have doubts about my mobo as a few Hd’s seem to be acting strange).
Now, because i cannot run setup I cannot format. And because its NTFS i cannot fdisk.
I have found a program called delpart which suggests it would allow me to format the HD. I cannot seem to make it work .
Can someone please give me some guidance of how to format a ntfs drive without setup? delpart will probably work, but my DOS skill are obviously void.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
