Cannot import pst file

Hi everybody
Since My laptop having some problem,i configured my outlook account on a desktop.And also i put the laptop harddrive in my desktop as slave.
Now i can access all the files which are there in laptop hard drive except the old pst file.
I tried file ->open from outlook,add new data file,import everything.
Even i cant copy the file into some other drive or folder.Its giving access denied error.
It is not read only and i have ownership of that file also.
What i can do for that file to open
