I have a Ibm desk top pc Win NT trying to install Ibm DB2 software. I map a drive and connect to a server without any problem, I then open the file I need then hit the setup button,the splash screen appears then I hit install and then I get the hour glass and then nothing. I look in task manager and it says its running, I can install on other machines, I also cannot install from cd rom.I have put fresh installs of the os on 3 different hdds. same result.After attempting the install, when I tryto shut down, I get an end task box with Partlnschk error. I have to end task twice, then the 3 fingered salute to shut down. And last but not least I do get the 16 bit application error and wow.exe errors. Any Ideas anyone. I did full hardware diagnostics which came back ok. Thank you in advance
