Actually two websites won’t load on one particular Vista machine. Everything else works fine. Firefox presents a “page load error” screen: “The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.”
Internet Explorer fails similarly, but only on the same two websites. Other Vista machines, and an XP box on the same network load the two websites without difficulty.
I’ve cleared the cache, removed cookies, flushed the DNS cache, turned off firewalls. Nothing changes the behavior.
A complete reinstall is not really an option.
Any ideas?
