I have a test lab in VMWare Player. 3 machines, 2 servers one is DC with AD installed, DHCP installed, Scope of address for DHCP 192.168.1.100- 254. XP machine has IP address of 192.168.1.
102, Can ping the server with good results, Server with DHCP cannot ping the XP machine
2nd server is Read only with DNS, static ip of 192.168.1.11 ping times out to XP machine. 2nd server will ping the 192.168.1.100 DC so the 2 servers can see each other but both cannot see the xp machine but the xp machine can see both servers.
