Please, assist on this if you can:
I have a customer who claims that he cannot map a drive by name on his server sitting at one end (London) of an IPSec VPN tunnel when accessing it from the other end(Leeds).
However, if he tries to do it using the IP address, this works.
London server is 192.168.1.2 and the Leeds network is on 10.0.0.0/24. London has a Speedtouch 610 and a PIX behind it. Leeds is connected via a Cisco 878, and it’s a LAN-to-LAN.
I have checked everything and all access lists and traffic are fine. No restrictions whatsoever.
I believe he’s not checked his Microsoft network configuration properly.
Anything that you think should be double-checked on the Microsoft config?
I’m thinking of the Domain controller but am not as knowledgeable as I hoped…
