Cannot Set OffLine Folders

By a_tank ·
There is a laptop here (Win95) that has lost its settings for offline folders in Outlook 2000. When I try to set them up again, it tells me the Exchnage Server is not available, yet all email services are working fine. Any suggestions??

do a find on *.ost and either rename or delete any found, then go to tools, sevices, microsoft exchange server propreties, then the advance tab and select offline folders, then configure your ost file and stop and restart outlook and sync your system.

I had the same problem. I had to create a new exchange profile to correct the problem. Go to control panel, select "mail", select "Show Profiles", add a new profile and insert the services that you require. Make it the default and that should correct the problem. hhp
