I can share folders/files on each PC and they can see the files themselves (they see their own shares on the workgroup). I have a PC wired to a new, wireless router. A laptop connecting wireless.
I can access the main PC via Remote Desktop, VNC, VNC via http locally, and my website internally. All done via 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.1:5801, 192.168.1.1:1701. Still, neither PC will see each others shared folders. Both see the MSHOME workgroup, but not each other’s shares.
All firewalls and AVs disabled. Main PC uses AVG FREE and Windows Firewall. Laptop uses Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security.
Both XP SP2. Home network. Linksys Wireless-N Broadband Router.
