Question

Locked

cannot shutdown directly.

By dangolrajesh ·
My computer is join on the domain. while I logon with domain user and click on start button and click on shutdown. It shows only log off in the drop down list button in the shut down windows. I have to log off and then only I can find shutdown list on the shutdown windows. But While I log on through the same computer (not the domain user)there is no problem on shutting down.
Can you help me with this?
Thanks in advance.

That seems perfectly normal to me ...

If you are connected to a domain, after you power up you will logon to be part of the domain.

All you are describing is doing the reverse procedure. When you are not connected to a domain you are not logging on, therefore do not require to log off first.

I wasn't sure if the TR peers could take it 'again'!

It's been a while but I got sooo bored sitting looking at that Saltire. - Anyway, I spent long enough creating that Mini-Me, it only seems right that I should 'show me off'. :^0
