i’m running exchange 2000 and recently installed symantec anti-virus filtering. the problem is when i double-click on the icon, the page does not open. when i go into computer management, service and iis to try and start the service, i get the message “the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion”. there are also two other services in this location that have been stopped and give the same response when i try to start them. these are administration website and default website.
