Can’t add local printer

Here is what happens…. I start installing a local printer and go through all the steps but when I finally click Finish, I get the message that says “Printer driver was not installed. Operation could not be completed.”

I’ve tried setting it up to print to file, lpt1, and an ip address. I am a net admin and I have all rights. I’ve check my pc rights and all seem in order.

Any ideas?
