Can't Attach in Outlook?

recently installed Outlook on a Citrix box. now my end users cannot attach a file or save a file if there was an attachment already attached. the error message says "Operation failed. An object cannot be found" when i try to save an attachment and "The system cannot find the specified file." when i try to attach a file. i would greatly appreciate any help.

You didn't mention what service pack you were running, but SP5 has a bug. MS Support recommends rolling back to SP4 or upgrading to Outlook 2000.(Q247937)I found a registry fix that will allow users to attach from their local C: drives but won't work for local A: drive. We put it in the user's login script. This is it:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office8.0\Word\Options
DontUseUnc: REG_DWORD 0x1

The usual caveats apply...

It sounds like it may be a temp directory issue. There is a temp dir fix for this but its doesn't always fix the problem. What i did was to put "cacls %temp% /t /e /g everyone:f" in the usrlogn.cmd. This allocates the appropriate permissions to the temp directory for each user.
