Cant browse network

I have a win2k stand alone server in a workgroup with win 9x computers. When i try to browse the network (linked with hubs and switches)I get an error message that I cannot browse the network. I can ping others on the network, I can resolve names toip addresses on the command prompt. I have enabled ‘netbios over tcpip’ and filled in the WINS server ip but when I go to any computer on the network I get the message ‘network is not available’
Any help out there? This has gotta be easy!
