Can’t connect via VPN from second computer

by residenteyedoc . Updated 15 years, 6 months ago

I’ve set up a VPN which is fully functional from a client running XP Pro 64 bit to a server running 2008R2. When trying to set up a second computer on my home network the VPN appears to connect (an IP has been assigned by the server), but I can’t ping by name or IP, can’t map drive, etc. The second computer is XP Pro.
Both home machines are on a domain and behind a router which serves as DHCP server with a range of 192.168.1.100-199. The workplace domain is 192.168.0.xxx

I’m fairly new to networking, but can’t understand why one computer would set up and the other would not. (I am able to map drives, use resources from the xp pro x 64 machine).
