Can’t delete a folder in Vista.

by archmagusmicael . Updated 17 years, 5 months ago

Hi,

To cut a very long story short, I’ve somehow got a Folder named k\windows on my C Drive (windows sees it as C:\k\windows).

Unfortunately I can’t seem to find a way to get rid of this folder, as Windows assumes that the folder’s path is actually within C:\k\ (which doesn’t exist).

Is there any way that anyone knows of (short of wiping the hard drive) to either get delete or rename this folder? (As you’ll probably guess it’s the remains of my old windows installation, and is happily taking up a fair bit of my HD space).

Thanks!

– Micael
