cant delete printer from windows

I have a win95 machine with a network printer installed that isnt on the network anymore. When I click on the printer to delete it, an error comes up and I have to click oK to continue. When I click ok the screen closes and takes me back to the desktop not allowing me to delete this printer. Is there a way to delete this printer through the command prompt? or any ideas on deleting it through windows?
