We are running Netware 4.2 for Small Business, and recently updated our Win2K clients from ver. 4.80 to 4.83. Two out of 3 of our workstations had no problems with the update, but the 3rd one that has to also run Microsoft’s Netware Client because of ARCserve is having a big problem — even though “Notify” and “Banner” are turned off (unchecked) in the Netware printing properties, we still get that pesty banner page preceding all print jobs, and a notify popup once the print job is complete. We have searched Novell support for a solution (listed as a known issue), but none of the fixes seem to work. One suggestion was to enable those properties, restart, then disable them again…no good.
Anyone have any solutions to this irritating situation??
