Can't Display SAMBA Printer On NT Client

By walker3e ·
After installing SAMBA on a Solaris 8 server from a package file, I can see the SAMBA server from my NT workstation in my "Network Neighborhood" but when trying to select the printer under "Network printer server", I can never get the printer attached to the SAMBA server to display? What did I miss?

Can't Display SAMBA Printer On NT Client

Check that your NT logon username is a vaild username of the Samba box.
Also check how passwords are being sent across, Windows generally sends passwords in encrypted format. Most times you need to enable plain text passwords in the registry to allow the windows box to talk to the unix server.
