cant edit micorsoft outlook 2000

when I edit the microsoft outlook 2000, I got the msg that I cant write to the file “outlook.pst”, I’ve unchecked the read-only box, but cant help. I am just using win98 at home.

  You are encountering a file extension problem and the file will need to be a Txt.extension, go to outlook help and use the answer wizard to get info.
