Outlook Express uses the Windows Address Book for your profile.

The file will have your user name and the extension .wab

The specific location of the file depends on which version of Windows, and how your user profile is set up.

For Windows XP and 2000, the address book should be in:

C:\Documents and Settings\{User name}\Application Data\Microsoft\Address book\

(I'm on a W98 box at the moment, so the actual path may be a little bit different.)

For Windows 98, the path is:

C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book\

You may not be able to see the file with Windows Explorer if the option to hide system and hidden files is enabled.

You might also want to turn off the option to hide extensions for known file types.

You can also export the address book from Outlook Express.
Click on tools, address book.

In the address book pane, click on file, export.
