Can’t get my wireless on through my blanc router

I just bought a blanc network router and am trying to connect it through my speedtouch modem on xp with service pack 3. I was having problems just getting the internet to work on the access point through the router but finally got it working, now I cannot get any wireless signal…even sitting next to the router. This is driving me crazy any ideas?
