Can't get ST-Lab a-224 PCI raid card to install.

By Loboone ·
I am trying to install an ST Lab A224 PCI card in with two 500GB drives in Raid1.

My issue is that I can't get the drivers installed as per instructions. Ctrl S or F4 comands just don't seem to do anything.

Tried installing drivers as from floppy drive but they were not compliant.

I have just given up for now.

Can anyone advise on where I am going wrong.

Ian

OK what are you trying to do here?

by OH Smeg In reply to Can't get ST-Lab a-224 PC ...

Generally when you use a RAID Array you install the OS to it and that involves pressing the F6 Key when the first Blue Screen Appears during the Windows Install Process and then waiting till you are prompted to insert the Drivers on the Root of a Floppy into the A Drive and press Enter.

But as I have no idea what you are attempting to do here or what OS you are using you'll have to tell us so we can attempt to help you out here.
