    Can’t get USB to Work

    I have a Dell Latitude CPi notebook computer. I have just loaded Windows 98 Upgrade on the system. I can’t get the USB controller, root hub, etc. to show in device manager. The Dell web site says it uses the “Intel 82371SB PCI to USB Host Controller”. I have specically loaded this controller and a root hub but still can’t get the USB to work. I have the latest BIOS. Any ideas to get this to load????

      It’s odd that after instalation, it’s still not showing.
      The only think I can’t think of is that you might be looking in the wrong place.
      Did you look for your driver in System Devices or Universal Serial Bus Controllers under Device Manager?

        The last system I setup had the Root Hub and I believe the Controller under “Universal Serial Bus Controllers”. Unfortunately I don’t have access to that system any more. I did however check under “System Devices” to see if I could see the controller.
